A&E has set a March 25 premiere date for the second season of Gene Simmons' reality-TV show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels". The cable channel began production last fall on 20 one-hour episodes.

A&E had ordered a 13-episode first season.

Second-season antics — which will continue to revolve around Simmons, longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed and their two kids — are sure to shock, Simmons told Daily Variety.

"People's jaws will drop," he said. Show's appeal is strong because "everyone wishes they had this family. Every guy wishes he was me. It shows how you can be happy."

The first 13-episode season of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" were released on double-DVD in time for Christmas.
